Sapot Systems was founded in 2003 on a simple belief — that senior engineers, given the right environment and the right process discipline, will outdeliver larger teams every time. Two decades later, that belief has been proven at Apple, Freddie Mac, Verizon, Tesla, and Wells Fargo. Now we’re bringing that same delivery model to federal missions.
We’re a Sterling, VA-based IT firm founded in 2003 — certified WOSB, WBENC, and NMSDC, with an active GSA MAS 54151S schedule and CMMI Level 3 process maturity. We specialize in cloud modernization, ServiceNow, full-stack engineering, UX/accessibility, CMS, and data engineering — delivered by a senior-only team averaging 10–20 years of hands-on experience.
We are not a body shop. We don’t staff junior engineers and hope for the best. Every engagement is staffed with practitioners who have shipped at scale, in regulated environments, under real compliance pressure.
After 20 years of commercial delivery, Sapot Systems is building its federal practice — pursuing 8(a) certification, actively seeking teaming and subcontracting opportunities with federal prime contractors, and positioning for direct agency work through our GSA MAS vehicle. Our certifications, process maturity, and delivery record make us ready to perform on day one.
Sapot Systems incorporated with a senior-first delivery philosophy — no junior engineers, no hand-holding, no surprises. Built from day one for complex, high-stakes engagements.
Added an India partner office, extending delivery capacity across time zones for enterprise clients with 24/7 uptime requirements.
Delivered across financial services, healthcare, and consumer technology — including engagements at Wells Fargo, Northern Trust, and Express Scripts. CMMI-governed delivery practices formalized during this period.
Incorporated as a foreign corporation in Virginia — strategically positioning Sapot Systems in the federal corridor for future government contracting work.
Added Canadian operations, extending delivery capacity for multinational enterprise engagements.
Achieved WOSB, WBENC, and NMSDC certification. Obtained GSA MAS 54151S schedule. CMMI Level 3 and ISO 9001 certifications locked in. 8(a) pursuit initiated. Federal practice formally launched.
Engaging prime contractors for subcontracting and teaming opportunities across cloud modernization, ServiceNow, UX/accessibility, and data engineering. Building the federal delivery record to match our commercial one.
We don’t hire junior engineers and ramp them up on your engagement. Every Sapot engineer has 10–20+ years of hands-on delivery experience. That means faster time to value, less oversight burden, and deliverables that pass review the first time.
CMMI Level 3 and ISO 9001 aren’t marketing credentials for us — they’re how we’ve operated for years. Stable scope, repeatable processes, audit-ready documentation, and predictable timelines are built into how we work, not bolted on at the end.
We’ve delivered in OCC and CFPB-regulated lending environments, HIPAA-aligned healthcare platforms, and GSE-level financial infrastructure. Compliance isn’t a constraint we work around — it’s a discipline we’ve built into every engagement.
Mission To deliver senior-led technology solutions — on scope, on schedule, and audit-ready — for the enterprises and agencies that can’t afford surprises.
Vision To be the subcontracting and delivery partner that federal prime contractors reach for first — trusted for our process maturity, our senior talent, and our no-surprises execution.
Our Values
We measure ourselves by what ships, not what was promised. Senior engineers, CMMI processes, and ISO 9001 governance exist for one reason: to make sure the work is real.
Every engagement is documented, auditable, and repeatable. Not because a client asked for it — because that’s how we work.
We embed into your team and perform. We don’t need oversight, escalation paths, or status meetings to stay on track. We’ve been doing this long enough to know what good delivery looks like.
We keep our teams intentionally lean and intentionally experienced. Three senior engineers outperform ten junior ones — every time.
We haven’t done federal yet. But we’ve done the hardest version of everything federal requires — and we’re building toward it with the same discipline we’ve applied to every engagement for 20 years.
